Gotcha

The orange juice was being sold At quite a nifty price. I bought a few containers, Feeling proud, not thinking twice. But something made me double-check, Since looks would not suffice, And that is when I noticed What I don’t think’s very nice. Each orange juice container, Looking normal, to entice, Was a bunch of ounces smaller, So I offer this advice: When a bargain is presented, You can always roll the dice, But from corporate America, There’ll be no sacrifice.

You can say this six more times "But from corporate America, There’ll be no sacrifice."

Hi Ilene. I once saw this done and they had the nerve to write on the package now with less packaging....like they put less in it for the cause of the environment. LOL Trevor

Everything is more expensive as the servings keep getting smaller. Well penned. A very clever piece indeed. Have a great day my friend.

Spot on! Compare the size of a 1940s Hershey bar/Graham cracker/Twinky with one today and no one will feel sorry for corporate America today!

You've got that right. Buy one, get one free but we'll charge you double for the first. Nicely done Ilene. I see you haven't lost your poetic touch.

Unfortunately, many seniors are unable to read the small print! I have purchased groceries six-weeks beyond expiration date from major chains, so always carrying reading glasses when shopping! Aloha! Rico

Unfortunately, this is so true, Ilene. Always double-check. If it seems to be too good, it probably isn't!
