John Read Poet Rhyme

Gossip

I never make decisions
or base my opinions
from the reports of others.

I never listen to gossip
I treat everyone
as sister and brother.

When someone says bad things
they may think that I agree.
But I know the hurtful things they say
Is a reflection of them not thee.
