Gossamer Wings

As gossamer wings flutter
a soul takes flight.
Angel headed heavenward
on this starry night.

A soul takes flight.
Leaves this earthly plane.
On this starry night
trumpets play refrain.

Leave this earthly plane
angel, headed heavenward.
Trumpets play refrain
as gossamer wings flutter.
