Gossamer Dream

Gossamer wings,
         flutter across my dreams this night;
      around my memories are gauzy rings,
         I follow with delight !
  Oh, all the beautiful and the sad are entwined,
  the ups and downs-  the sweet and ugly intertwined;
     my tangled vast journey defined,
  and I wake to sunshine that a gentle breeze brings !
