Gorilla
I met a gorilla on the bus today.
He was genuinely interested in what I had to say.
We talked weather, politics and life.
I spoke of my children, he of his wife.
Our bus ride lasted less than a mile.
But when we parted I sported a smile.
What a pleasure meeting a new friend brings.
That two can enjoy simple things.
