Gorgeous Loving Empathetic Woman

A gorgeous woman
her heart was exceedingly pure
She was selfless and godly
But her birthmark scared off potential suiters
Those who did not understand full beauty

A loving woman
She was patient and kind
Her compassion struck a chord in many hearts
They saw her for who she was
Beyond the birthmark

An empathetic woman she became a bride
And a marvelous mother to six lucky children
Who thought women without a birthmark were missing something
The empathy and compassion of their loving mother

Ah, I like this a lot. I had a friend in high school who had a large red blotch all over one side of her face. Anyway, she became very success in her adult life. She was our football coach's daughter and begged to play varsity football, but, of course, back in my day that was not allowed. I have no idea why I shared all of that!!!!

I am enjoying it. My 13 year old granddaugher was the first female to play football on the Blue Valley Kansas football team in middle school, so maybe this is why you shared it.
