Gordon's Dilemma

Gordon’s Dilemma

She said sit down young stranger
Right here on Susan’s floor
Have a second cup of coffee
I’m not talking anymore
Until these clouds of loneliness
Like the early morning rain
Drift off with the sun rise
And we are one again
I know if you could read my mind
The joy we could reap
For I know what you’ve been thinking
You’ve been talking in your sleep
But then you’ve become a stranger
With your ribbon of darkness shroud
So sit down here young stranger
Let me help you lift your cloud
