Goosebumps

Hellbent
   free fall
unsynchronized tumble
   Helter-skelter
   feet first
   head first
Arms akimbo
   screaming, holding my breath
   into a cold inferno
   beyond the stars, shivering
jackals howling
   Echoes of the end of time...
   startled awake
   throat hoarse
   covered with gooseflesh
