Goodnight Sky
Goodnight sky, oh how you shine,
With stars that twinkle and align,
A canvas of black, deep and vast,
With beauty that will forever last.
The moon, a shining beacon bright,
Guides us through the quiet night,
Casting shadows, creating a hue,
A serene landscape for me and you.
The cool breeze whispers in my ear,
As the night draws ever near,
A peaceful lullaby, a gentle kiss,
A sweet reminder of all I'll miss.
Goodnight sky, you bring me peace,
As I watch the stars increase,
I'll drift off into a peaceful slumber,
Dreaming of a world without any number.
May the darkness bring me rest,
As I lay down to be my best,
Goodnight sky, I'll see you soon,
In the morning light of a brand new moon.
