Goodnight My Child
Why is it always so hard to let go
When our day has come to its’ end
It is a moment I want you to know
I have a million more kisses to send
So, then I kiss your eyes goodnight
With a wish to bring you good dreams
Then you’re gone, gone from my sight
For a night that is forever it seems
