Goodnight Moon
< Goodnight moon
Only God knows if I'll see you soon
As I stand under this canopy of stars
It looks as if you're riddled with scars
From your illuminating harvest glows
To those frosted faces from a winters toll
You even play your peek a boo
With clouds that shuffle by you
Don't you know I love you so
So please stay and don't you let go
You're my guiding light
My shining armor through-out the night
The crickets are even playing our love song
So let's dance all night long
For I know the sun will be rising soon
And we'll start hearing yodel calls from a loons tune
Well goodnight moon
You've slipped away all to soon
It's been fun
Dam ! now here comes the sun
