Losing you...
Slipping away...
Losing the grip...
It all went up in flames
That night when it all fell apart.
The blade...
Glides across
Staining and scaring...
We hold on...
To the edge of breaking
It is all lost...
You lost all...
Love, friends, life
So long...
Goodbye...
I can't go...
I must stay.
So long...
Have a goodnight...
Tears streak my face
With black lines
Forever etched there...
To match my soul
I can't go...
I must stay...
Trust me...
Things will be better this way
Nothing stays the same...
So many hearts...
Broken...
But I keep hanging on...
So you just carry on..
And move along...
Though your gone..
Can you hear me?
Are you near me?
I promise we will meet again...
Or at least we can pretend..
