Goodness and Joy

There is such goodness and joy in the world
It is up to us to search the ponds and hills
until we find it

For some of us it is in the monarchs and Luna moths
Others will be able to dance and whistle with the faeries
Some will find their mirth and joy in the depths of the ocean

There is hope and optimism and justice in the world
We will find it if we keep looking for it
The key is to search every lake, mountain, and meadow

Wild strawberries, rosy mushrooms, ruffled marigolds
Can uplift and revitalize us
Sun’s Vitamin D can lift us up and shake out the doldrums
It is up to us to follow nature until we feel God’s goodness.

And, you know, Caren, some people just make their joy wherever they find it, and that is super. I sometimes think it is best if we can just find joy in ourselves rather than in other things. You do it all the time.

I do find joy, because I seek it hourly!

Beautiful. Made me so happy because I see God in nature. It is indeed happiness giving. You are right - happiness is for those who seek
