Goodbye Stranger

I don't like what I see anymore
yet beyond those eyes
you're still a stranger
one of those I fear
How can you act like 'them'
as you lose your best friend
It hurts to watch you crumble
It's because of him
we never spoke
and all my dumb hopes
I should have known
this would happen
oh wait
I did
and that's why we're all alone
