Goodbye Note
I awaken to a hastily written note and an empty house...
The inevitable end was here...
Nothing could have prepared me for this...
Everything is so clouded, and so clear...
She snatched up my heart while I was sleeping,
and took it with her...
The only reason I know it's gone, is I can
no longer feel the murmur...
There was a whirlwind of her exit like a traveling storm...
My dreams lay in ruin, all tattered and torn...
Was this my fault or was it some saboteur?
I stand in the debris in a hazy blur...
