Goodbye My Talented Friend
I remain expressionless
Most of the time
To my knowledge
But I see and I feel
The burning in you
Clawing to get out
I see you wracked with
The desires of
Your dreams and talents
That perhaps you yourself
Know not how to
Express and so you seem
Loveless,hard,uncaring
But I feel your frustration
And I cry out in
My soul to defend your right
To be misunderstood
And at the same time
Anticipate your
Departure from my life
