Goodbye My Love
Its 3 am, I lay awake gazing at the ceiling
Wondering if I should let go, if I will find another love like you
I ask myself how things would have turned out if you had said yes
I wonder how it would have felt kissing your lips, holding your hand
How I would have felt hearing you whisper the words I love you in my ear
The warmth of your breath caressing my skin, your heart beating against mine
Thinking about things I should have said or done differently
It’s been hard holding on to a love that I know will never be
But it’s been even harder every time I tried to give up knowing you are everything I need
I love you and its killing me, you make me smile even if you are the reason I’m sad
I am scared of losing you forever and then again you’re not mine
Simply amazing, The dream that will never be, You are beautiful

From the moment I said hello I knew I wanted you forever
If there is one thing I have done right, it’s giving my heart to you
I can’t breathe without you, I can’t be happy without you, but I have to let go
It’s time to say goodbye my love, I have to move on even though the heart wants to hold on
I will always love you but I can’t keep on holding on to something will never be
I can’t make you love me and you can’t make your heart feel something it won’t
I tried my best, I tried to get into your heart but I can’t make you love me
Please promise me you always remember me.
Giving up on us has been the hardest thing I have ever done
But I just don’t want to go knowing I meant absolutely nothing to you
I will never forget you, I will always keep you on my mind and in my heart
