Goodbye Heart

My thoughts were your persuasions
My actions copied your thoughts

In crowded sidewalks of this city
Giving ways to others
I gave away my way

Even then
You made me say -
I am sorry

You have numbed my mind
With your wild beats
And my head rolled down the drain
Like a crumpled page of poetry

Bidding farewell to you
Hurts me for sure
Such as absence's silent sting
Even when I prepare your burial

Finally
I'm left with a wish
To walk for myself
For once
Without you and
In this wispy heartlessness
I become wiser
In the ways of the world
