Goodbye Daughters

Parents said goodbye to their daughters who were heading west Hugged their grandchildren tightly to their breasts The Conestoga wagon with her upward curved floor Making sure there would be no tipping or shifting in store Dangers crossing the prairie every day Trail of wagon wheels abandoned along the way
