Goodbye Daughters
Parents said goodbye to their daughters who were heading west
Hugged their grandchildren tightly to their breasts
The Conestoga wagon with her upward curved floor
Making sure there would be no tipping or shifting in store
Dangers crossing the prairie every day
Trail of wagon wheels abandoned along the way
