Goodbye Beloved

One last time may I steal A kiss from the only mouth that ever knew how to enslave and awake every Ounce of my being.. quivering lips dampened by the salts of sorrow Hoping that moment To linger an eternity as if with quiet eyes And mournful pleas could Ever say goodbye to the one true love of my life....
