Goodbye Because I Love You

Goodbye because I LOVE YOU

I need to go

Silence, tears versus needs

I need to say goodbye

I hate to see you crying

I’m miserable when I see you hungry

I feel like dying when you are sad

 

I need to go

I can control my tears

I can overcome my hunger

I can conquer my sadness

Because I LOVE YOU

 

I need to say Goodbye because I LOVE YOU

I need to go

For you to stop crying

For you to eat well

For you to reach your goal

For you to be happy

I’m not that far, just close your eyes and you will feel me  

Because I LOVE YOU

 

One day

You will say

I LOVE YOU because you go

This poem is dedicated to a woman I’ve just met this weekend, we chat for a while and I can see myself in her when I bravely decided to work abroad.

This is a beautiful, honest, raw poem and in its gentleness it sings into the heart. I am sorry it has taken me so long to visit, I was off the soup for a while. Faraz Ajmal May 28, 2018 at 6:24 AM This is a really beautiful poem,it s the rule of life that in order to earn something we have to give away something, we just can't expect happiness in every step, sometime in order to reach our goals we have to go away from our close ones but it s for their own benefit, just don t regret and see the future of success, my uncle is living in Kuwait so that he can earn money and give it to my aunt, now my aunt will meet him next week after 1 year and I m happy to see the happiness on her face Loreli Perez May 28, 2018 at 6:31 AM I was in that situation 7 years ago, now I'm thankful that I go:) All my kids are with me here in Dubai and our life is better than before I go.
