Goodbye, Balloon

she said
you're like a balloon,
floating away in the 
distance 

it seems
gravity can't
hold you and
the wind
takes you

further away 
each day,
but I can't
make myself

pull back 
on the string
so instead,
I push

David, a nice poem here, I like the imagery. We release balloons on a departed one's birthday, your poem makes me think of this.
