-goodbye-

Daily Poetry #53, March 22, 2017
Word: Goodbye

I smile,
And say
“Thank you,”
Today.

Your world may
Be breaking down,
But it’s okay,
I’m here now.

Though the end is near,
I will always be here.
Don’t cry, it’s okay,
Don’t blame yourself.

Dream so sweetly, sweetie,
For I will never let you go.
Even if it’s true,
This world is only for us.

As the whole world falls,
I will break down these walls.
I will surround you with a world,
Made for only the two of us.

I smile
And say
“Thank you,”
Today.
