Good-Bye

I got the call that your were gone
So I jumped in my car and hurried home
I cried so much that I could not see
But then a strange feeling came over me
I looked at the sky and saw a bright light
That’s when I realized that you were going to be all right
Because you are on your way home so that you can rest
Then God reassured me that it was for the best
And I know that you are smiling as you walk up the path
So I want to say thank you for all the good laughs
