Good-Bye

Good-Bye

We haven’t known each other so long
But we fell in love right away
I had no idea it would be so short
When I would have to say good-bye
It may be for just weeks or months
It could be for years of forever
I promise you that I will write
Even when I am hiding from the bullets
And the enemy has us surrounded
I will tell you that I love you
There will always be another letter for you
And if I die climbing a ridge
The last thought I have will be of you
And when God asks me what I did wrong
I will say that I said good-bye to you
And that was my only mistake in life

Wow what a big mistake to make, saying good bye to the wrong one. I'd just like to offer my condolences mate.
