Goodbye
I never wanted this to happen,
I never wanted you to go.
I really, really did love you,
Even though it really didn’t show.
I didn’t cheat on you,
People were telling you lies.
When I found out that’s what people were saying,
All I could do was cry.
I wish people wouldn’t have said that,
Because then you’d still be mine.
If they would’ve never said that,
You wouldn’t have said goodbye.
This never wouldn’t have happened,
If people didn’t lie.
But because people did,
All I can do now is cry.
