GOOD-BYE
She said she was working most the night
As she kissed my lips and said goodnight.
She walked away and locked the door...
Moments later that fatal roar.
I ran outside and bowed my head,
For in the road she lay there dead.
I had lost the meaning of my life
The night the Lord had taken my wife.
This will be my last goodbye
As tears are filling up my eyes.
Now I lay my head to nest
And say goodbye like all the rest.
I'm sorry I left this way....
