Goodbye

When your love turns to gray
And your heart stumbles away from me
Let me know. Let me know the days and nights,
The days and nights that you became free
From the feelings you and I have shared and   
                      cherished.

When your feeling starts to turn the tide
And your mind doubts your heart's desire
Let me know. Let me know the days and nights.
The days and nights that you crumpled me aside
Put me down with their hefty pound.

Let me know. Let me know
The feelings you hide inside;
Let me know. Let me know
The plan you devised --- so bad.
Let me know...

For tears cannot mend a broken heart.
And the pain could tear me in pieces apart 
For tears cannot mend a broken heart.
Like a hopeless river bound to its doom.
Sure to run dry and has to bid goodbye.
