Goodbye

This is not a poem. I wish to say goodbye for real now. The amount of hate in this place is overwhelming and I do not wish to be part of it anymore. My friends know where to find me. All the great people in here, you know I love you. Good luck and have a good life.

Hi! I was interested in reading your poems from the Netherlands and this is the first post I came upon, with the most views. My dad used to say, never use the word 'hate' as it's too strong. I'm still new to PoetrySoup, but it seems like most of the people here are good people. We'll miss your poetry! I'll have to look at your older poems. :)

Hi Darren, I was just reading your featured poem this week. You have such tremendous talent, and I'm sorry to know that you left because of hateful people. That saddens my heart. I just recently came back here after being gone for three years. I hope I don't experience the negativity that you had to deal with. I have found some lovely, new poets, and I hope it stays that way. Took me a while to see the underbelly, but I just can’t part with some of these folks - the good ones - and right now that’s important ... tomorrow is always a new day.
