Goodbye

I’m so, so sorry
For the things I never said
The things I couldn’t
I hope with every breath to make you proud
Though, it’s too late for you to watch
You’re gone now, Goodbye
And I never appreciated you
Enough.
I was alone.
You asked no questions.
You loved me;
You shouldn’t have.
So please I beg you,
Heed me,
Whatever you were to me in life
You were always Grandpa
In my heart,
Goodbye Friend
