Goodby Mother

.

         The jaw drops
as the lids of mine eyes
        and mine dome

   The whole procession
did hear these knees clap
        with the stone
      as the Elder read

            "This is
       her new home"

It's sad, how deeply you were affected, James. I bet you were very close. By the way, back to the chalkboard with you, young whippersnapper. You didn't get my sonnet either. I was saying I LIKE my little room. DO punish me and let me write restictrive (form) poetry. I can't do very many poems in free verse form. But I can always do things when I am restricted. Well, gosh I have a lot of work ahead of me now on that final blog I am doing! wish me luck. LUv,Andrea
