Good Will

“good luck,” written in chalk, “good luck”
like the whites of the eyes
and the white of the pillow
“good luck, i’m good, but why the
is there rain in the pot
at the end of the ?”

frilly dress below lifeless eyes
lifeless eyes reflect on dizzy eyes
do not reflect them, only reflect on
the mirror cannot capture dizzy eyes
moving pupil, i’m your moving pupil
never focus, never
                               blink
only move, only follow
your dizzy eyes cannot capture
good dolls of good will
cannot reflect on, cannot reflect
only move
by mistake, glance at the shelf you stock
at the doll w/ the frilly dress never bought
the doll eyes move
your dizzy eyes stop
realize the doll eyes weren’t dizzy
only were your own
