Good Thing

I was late for work, rushing.
“Can you help me cross please?”
I was late but I had heard his voice,
I turned back.
“let me help you” I offered.
He held my hand,
The robot was green,
We crossed the road.
I helped a blind man cross!
The only good thing I did that year.
