Good Morning

i had a dream about you last night.
good morning.
you called me baby
and we went on a walk.
it was so real until i woke up
shivering in my bed.
you are all that's in my head.
good morning.
it's never enough
to want something so much,
when you still fall asleep all alone.
the mundane ways
of days left unfazed
have stayed steadily
vacant as i've grown.
