Good Bye My Love

For love, I bound myself
To restrictions of your sphere
Closed my wings, strapped their wealth
And died,
Now, pushed aside
Hesitate to cut the bonds
Wings ache as they stretch
Stand, looking, feeling
Somehow survived
A smile painted
Is worth the pain
Grateful
To have known you
I’m free
To spread my wings
Run towards the cliff
Leap and soar
In love for ever more
