Good Bye My Love

The End has come, the silence is near.
Nothing is left, I am finished here.
People pass by and I feel their shadow.
The fire will die, yes even the glow.

I’ve tried and tried, yet the truth shall be.
You are for you, and not for me.
Writing this End, completing this chapter.
Was never a part of that I was after.

Now – Good Bye is present, our life is the past.
Your future is first, I go on and take last.
Don’t stop this time, don’t dare think twice.
As your time with me, to me, was like ice.

My memory of Love and the beautiful closeness.
Will drift round in my thoughts, eternally endless.
I now stand aside, and allow the frost to touch.
My heart, my life, the Love I shared so much.

So very sad... every excellent story has a pause... but it is not the end... the screen grows dark, but more happens. Faith. Like a cake not yet finished, take it out early and it is just sludge. Wait.. wait.. wait... and.. hold your breathe.. then... how it happens is still amazing...Excellent write. Very sad, but that is not bad,... it is great poetry. If it is true, Never give up... that is so much less than waiting... for the cake to rise. Ann

Moments in life are not Life, as then there are other moments like Face to Face, Cheek to Cheek. Snow, Like You. Taming Heart. Yes, I tend to write both sides of the story, then others totally different. It is like when my father painted oils; I never knew what he would develop; neither do I. Thank you for your thoughts. :)
