Good and Good

Young & naive
                      Lingering in the aftermath

Feeling bereaved
                           And somewhat cold

Wishing I could forget
                                  Needing to start again

Take away the regret
                                  Before I begin

Tinkering in the shower
                                    Washing every imperfection

Every flower
                   Until I find satisfaction.
