Gone With the Wind

I had reasons not this,
had a vision sadly it died
No night vigil straight to the grave & no one cried
Voice of reason decided to hide

Glued to the wind my sunshine
Could not care less
As it built a shrine
Blowing away with my sense of self
And from afar the unspoken word danced chanting refusing to be kind

Painting pictures not appealing to the eye
Demanding peace should die
Gifting walls guarding my thoughts with the ability to fly
