She drifts through memory like morning mist; A silhouette in the golden window of time. Soft laughter lingers where footprints fade; The echo of her name whispered quiet places. Conversations unfinished hang in the air; The sun sets slower on days I remember. Her smile, during twilight, I watched from afar. Now gone like smoke on the breeze; Promises dissolved in late-night silence. She carries my dreams to distant lands; I gather fragments, build stories from shadows; And wonder who she became beyond goodbye.
