Gone In Sixty

Time is chasing me, chasing me away. I’m drowning in its minutes with a few seconds to spare. I’m halfway to the End, my walls are coming down. I’m rushing to save my soul but I don’t think it’s even there. My number is going to be up soon, the bell will be ringing. Once that line is made, no more air for me to breathe. I’m drowning in my own demise, so just leave me with time. The bells are growing distant now, my last breath is fading away with no time to spare.
