Gone But Not Forgotten

Unmindful time sneaks past
the stage of perfect life.
Quick as dreams take their place
nostalgia clings tight.
     Embrace fun,
     run the course,
     laugh a ton.
     None fathom
     when it's done.

Congratulations, Randy. The words of wisdom and introspection woven into this demanding tight write, takes skill. The quatrain sets the stage for the pivotal view in the pirouette - nice touch.

Just had a go writing one of these. it was hard. I like your pirouette! Being in the moment beats dreams and nostalgia. Nicely done. J :)

Thank you, Jeanette. This was my first pirouette. A bit of a tricky form to write.
