Gone Before Too Long
As I see it through Rose colored Glasses,
We were gone before too long,
You asked ,I answered,but it was not clear,
Your tears fell hard like the massive rains,
Of the spring and fall ,just the other day,
I left to return,much too soon,there was another,
Love that I see in the mirror,
I can not recover from even a thought,
That you had passed me by,
Never to return ,even though I still wait,
I hold myself away,Like no other.
But, gone you are,so far away from me.
You eyes are the stars of the Heavenly free
