Gone

I' ll be watching over you even when I'm gone

these eyes will always find you in forevermore.

Somehow I will protect us , a sand-wish far away

Paper lanterns light up shadows from yester'yesterdays..

A petal in a meadow, fresh dew behind the wall

Emotion penned on tree-trunk, a cascading waterfall.

One million broken pieces, a fading smile once whole

A trickling bleeding feeling, my hand upon your soul.

Still there though I'm not with you in every waking thought

Still here though you're not with me in moon's glow whisper caught.

A journey on short life-lines ,One road, two separate paths

Smudged ink upon last chapters as dusk pours on scarlet hearts

This poem was inspired by a sad love song..'All I Ask -By Adele'

Its just words,and fiction..

It may be fiction but it is not just words, it is emotional enough to be convincingly legitimate sincerity. I was way touched and moved by your words. Strong feelings laid out optimistically tender ... CayCay

Sad but beautiful, it seems those go hand in hand often. When one half of a love is taken before the other it is painful but we should remember all the smiles. What song inspired this? Im listening to Wish it would rain down by Phil Collins as the misty rain falls here.
