Gone

words can feel
then find 
somewhere in
the mind 
a bang and bolt
a jolt then a
squeeze
with an ease like a gentle breeze
and then still
even so
with a will to know
an insatiable flow
when the thaw
lets it go
to wherever the past
is gone

Olive Eloisa Guillermo - Fraser Date: 1/7/2015 1:09:00 AM :) there is one great scripture in Philippians that tells us that whatever is in the past we must forgot and that we must look forward with Christ is our live.. :) this a short verse but the words are particularly so thoughtful.. :) i especially like the line with the word thaw.. Love your way with words in, Gone and how the rhythm changes towards the end. The final word is a bit like a brake though, as if it doesn't want to let go, so maybe if you could try... "to wherever the past is released", and let it float away. I will linger longer and read some more, Thanks for the hook.
