Gone
Wow, I’ve never heard it like this before,
I mean the way my voice bounces off the ceiling, walls and floor.
Half the furniture left behind,
All yours gone, what’s left is mine, how kind.
Just a note on the door to remember your voice,
You left, that was your choice.
When it came to love, you knew where I stand,
I gave you my heart, the world and wedding band.
Now I see that was not enough for you,
You had to take half the furniture too.
Wow, there, I hear it again,
My lonely voice bouncing off the walls in vain.
