Gone

Gone. Forever in my dreams, your gone from this here place, I long to see your smile, I remember your smiling face. The cancer it had stricken, brought you to your knees, my God why have you forsaken, with such a terrible disease. You lay beside me motionless, your skin as pale as snow, you murmur in all this pain, for soon its time to go. Your a shadow of what you were, your heart beats silent still, you've given up the fight, and you've used up all your will. Now your time has come, to face what lies in wait, embrace the calm beyond thee, accept this willing fate. No more in pain your body, no more disease will win, remembered for what you were, and all that you have been. Paddy 14.07.18
