Golf As a Microcosm of Life

He threw his club into the drink* Muttered loudly, "My game stinks" Then he made a hole-in-one Jumped for joy, "This game is fun!" __________________________ *The 'drink' on a golf course is a water hazard, where you don't want to hit your golf ball -- or in this case, angrily throw your golf club(s)!

Even though I don't play golf or know that much about the game. I understand your thoughts completely. You are absolutely right about this. Life is like golf in a sense. When things don't go as planned, we get frustrated- sometimes angry. Of course, when things go right, we are overjoyed. Such a powerful message in these few words. ~ Brandy

Gosh, from your comment, I would have thought that you are a professional golfer, if you hadn't told me otherwise, Brandy. You really got the message!! (Not everyone does, surprisingly... I was a top caddy and a pretty fair amateur golfer through high school). Thank you so much for your encouragement! Joy and Light, Gershon
