Peeking through the clouds
Your light shining on the horizon
I cannot think of a more heart-gratifying moment
The poised expectancy of radiance

The sky’s now awake
A beauty that has me mesmerized
To witness your name come to life
A mirror of the sunrise
The heart of a new day
Living through as many sunrises as I get
