Golden Locks

Your golden locks
may be no more,
but as time tick-tocks
your beauty grows all the more.

Some things you've lost
may never return again,
but after many winters frost
you've warmed the heart of this man.

For in the dead of night
when dark and silence reign
and my tears flow from fright,
it's then your love comes down like rain.

Then I cry no more
for loneliness is gone
and I love you as never before
so let's wake together with the dawn...

remembering what we've lost
and now regained,
our love reborn.
