Golden Dell and Valley
Oh golden dell
Oh valley of lights
swirling clouds
and circles of night
oh caress of hand ...and longing of id
ego dropped as the satin gown did
silken bedsheets I will drape upon your nakedness
protect you from chill and all ...ill will
your hand clutches my hair...cups my head...you kiss my tilted cheek
I slide fingertips along the lines
the brush strokes sweep me into the ether ...
recollection and reflection
Oh the dew of days
and the dim of life
long dusty now
set by unknown hands gently against the eves
protected ....and neglected
sunlight stretches across the tattered oriental
reaches only one corner of the frame
ignites the gold and deepens the darks
and all is silent save these flickering moments
come and gone so fast
a squirel burrows in the eves
nestles and rustles in the walls
and sleeps
